A memorable Christmas party for Holiday Gym & Spa
The Mindanao Daily Mirror
(December 25, 2009)
Holiday Gym and Spa, the city’s premier health and wellness center, celebrated a Printed Christmas party for its staff and members.
Indeed, everyone came in their most printed attire and turned the party into a colorful
and festive night at G-Bo's Bar at Linmarr Apartelle de Davao last December 20
The night opened with a prayer led by front desk personnel Sherill Trinidad, followed by dinner.
Games followed, kicking off with "Pinoy Henyo" where one guesses what or who is posted on the forehead of the person guessing while he asks questions answerable only
by a yes, no or maybe to get hints.
Presentations per department followed next , giving the staff a chance to showcase their various talents like dancing, singing, acting, or plain goofing around.
The gym & PT department emerged as champions, winning P5,.000 cash with the support
services department coming in a close second, winning P4,000 cash. Third place
was the group exercise department taking home P3,000 cash and the combined
team of the boxing department and front desk department landed bagged fourth place, with P2,500 cash. Judges for the team presentation were gym members Jeanett and Eugene Yutankin and Bryan Guevara.
The party continued with more games. The most memorable one is the Message Relay, where a message is to be passed down the line. The message was "It's Christmas in the heart that puts Christmas in the air". The group that is able to relay the message closest to the original line wins.
The messages relayed at the end were a bit off, ranging from "Its Christmas time that put in the heart" to the "Merry Christmas in the heart, Merry Christmas in the air", The funniest was "Christmas in our heart, the footspa in the air". The closest and winning message was "Its Christmas in the heart that puts in the air" from the group exercise department. The group went home with P1,000 cash prize.
Not content with making the crowd laugh with the funny messages relayed, a modified trip to Jerusalem was held where female participants had to grab the male's pants zipper when the music stops. Participants who were unable to grab a zipper from a male participant was booted out of the game. The game also brought the house down ue to the funny comments from the night’s co-host. Korn Cocjin.
