Holiday Gym and Spa (HGS), the premier health and wellness center in Davao City, has made a long term commitment to campaign for healthy living and advocate an active and healthy way of life.

Among its campaign is "Get into sports, active living is healthy living" and promotes basketball as a fun way to stay fit.

A series of events in support of the campaign is held for the entire year like the Holiday Basketball League for members and non-members, basketball tournament for HGS members, HGS Araw ng Dabaw Invitational 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament, Women's Invitational Basketball tournament, basketball clinics for the entire month of April and May, Merry Mix-up Fun 3-on-3 Tournament, A fun game was held last February 20 between the basketball team of HGS and employees of the Bureau of Immigration and Deportation employees. A side event was also held between members different teams composed of HGS members.

Team A HGS composed of Cocoy Malbog, Ted Uy, Luis Reyna, Mac-mac Ibaņez, Mark Lebron Bonifacio, David Abundo, Yoko Ansaldo, Michael Gamil, Toto Alonzo and Wesley Bangayan won with 74 points versus Team Bureau of Immigration composed of Tata Ramo, Ivan Estrada, Jong Estrada, Bobot Gonzaga, Richard Cania, Kenneth Navales, Dok Bernales, Bobong Gonzaga, Intoy Magadan, Noynoy Bandigan, Jericho Cadungog and Andy Nasario.

Meanwhile Team C HGS composed of Karl Te, Lucky Gelera, Toto Alonzo, Mark Bonifacio, Dave Dalisay, Yoko Ansaldo, Ben Santiago and PJ Gelera won with 106 points versus Team HGS B composed of Prince Ibrahim, Romeo Birrey, Delos Reyes, Peter Abadilla, Gabriel Nakan, Tantan Aquino, William Dy, Ted Uy and Michael Gamil.

To continue its anniversary celebration of the basketball courts, HGS is holding the 2nd Media 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament at 8:00 a.m. on March 13. For more details, contact the event director Ted Uy at 2223041 or 2224207.
