HGS showcases summer fun with mini recital

Holiday Gym and Spa, the leading health and wellness center in Davao City, held a mini recital for its other summer programs last June 6.

HGS is not only advocating gym and sports exercises but is taking a holistic approach to fitness and health. Its summer programs include ballet, hiphop and taekwando, to name a few. The mini recital is to give the parents a glimpse of their children’s accomplishments in the different summer classes.

Under the tutelage of leading ballet teacher Irma Bringas, ballet students from as young as three years old to 18 years old, danced their way onstage, exhibiting grace and fluidity of the movements they have learned. The ballet school in HGS follows the principle of Royal Academy of Dance. Giovani de los Santos led his taekwando students, the Davao Holiday Tigers, in demonstrating to the audience the different skills of taekwando.

Bryan Grandeza of Groove Unlimited, who conducted summer hiphop classes to a group of 19 teeners, presented a much-applauded hiphop number, delighting the audience with their dexterity and fluid movements.

The management of HGS expresses its gratitude to the parents for entrusting their children to HGS during summer. Kudos to all the parents for trusting that their children's stay at HGS was not be put to waste. Children were encouraged to continue active living by enrolling in continuing programs of ballet and taekwando being held at HGS on regular days even after the start of classes.

The Groove Unllimited dance crew opened the recital with an upbeat dance number, while the Maharlika Dancers closed the program by dancing to the tune of HGS official healthy living jingle.

HGS would like to thank all the instructors of the summer programs, as well as Arnold Alvarez of Maharlika Dance Company for their continued support of HGS' campaign for healthy living.
